They currently have a team of 9 strong in the Leeds office with a mix of apprentices , graduates and senior engineers.
The Role: Senior/Principal Civil Engineer
As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
– Producing schematic/concept designs and detailed design of drainage and highways using Civils 3D
– Undertaking drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) designs using Causeway Flow
– Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
– Collaborating with other construction professionals in design development and project management as necessary
Main requirements
– Someone with good Civils 3D or equivalent with drainage networks experience
– Experience of mentoring and resourcing junior team members with a proactive approach.
– Line management experience to support team members in their career development.
– Project leader and manager of project finances.
– Experience of sustainable drainage systems concept and detailed design.
– Site experience including contractor liaison and management of health and safety
– Professionally qualified or demonstrably working towards professional qualification.
– Interest in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education and private sector.
– Experience of liaising with authorities and design team members with problem solving approach.
– Checking and managing quality of outputs.
