The Senior Learning Coaches work on a term-time basis, dedicating 36 hours a week over 40 weeks each year. Their primary role is to support students in achieving their learning goals and qualifications, thereby enhancing their progression opportunities and life skills. Additionally, these coaches assist in the planning and delivery of teaching sessions, as well as in learning and assessment for learners with learning disabilities and difficulties, including autism and complex needs. They play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
