Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a dynamic business services organisation. We are presently in search of a skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to become a valuable member of their team.
In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Controlling, holding a crucial position in overseeing and reporting the financial aspects of delivery units in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner will include:
- Cultivating strong relationships with senior managers and teams, analysing key variances during month-end closures, and reporting on financial drivers impacting delivery unit productivity
- Reviewing business owners’ contract performance, managing monthly financial deliverables within group deadlines, and providing ongoing support to managers in achieving financial objectives
- Coordinating annual training, conducting financial modelling for contracts, and collaborating across functions to enhance financial processes and controls
- Working closely with the Head of Controlling on business proposals, while identifying and flagging business risks and emphasising cost control and governance
The successful Senior Finance Business Partner will possess:
- Completion of a full Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in FP&A or similar positions
- Prior exposure to diverse pricing and cost allocation models
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and establish robust relationships
- Leadership background, demonstrating the ability to manage and cultivate high-performing teams
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced knowledge of various functions and formulas
Working Arrangements:
This is a hybrid working role, with 2-3 days expected at the Richmond-based office. The organisation is committed to providing a flexible and supportive work environment.
