92Job Description:Are you an SEND Teaching Assistant who is eager to work within a Primary school in Manchester?
The SEN Primary Teaching Assistant role is highly rewarding at a school whos curriculum intent is to take the children on a journey from nursery through to year 6. It is an ambitious curriculum that has been developed with the children’s starting points in mind and adapted from the National Curriculum to ensure it is broad, balanced and challenging.
This highly rewarding SEND TA role, will involve working within a primary environment with a number of students with PMLD, focusing to ensure and assist students with additional learning needs develop academically and socially through engaging lessons within a safe learning environment.

What you will need for the role:
- ASC SEN experience.
- Able and willing to travel to the area
- A passion for teaching/supporting.
- Good approach to behaviour management
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- A full enhanced DBS, which can be processed through Smile Education.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
What the role will involve:
- Help support a range of lessons designed to stimulate and motivate pupils’ learning.
- Working within a primary environment with students with PMLD.
- Facilitate a creative and supportive learning environment.
- Prepare differentiated lesson plans that accommodate all learners.
- Foster motivation, resilience, and intellectual curiosity in students
