30Job Description:Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a vibrant primary school located in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking 2 SEND Teaching Assistant’s to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a 2 SEND Teaching Assistant’s to join this thriving team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant’s will be supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, providing help inside of the classroom in addition to providing intervention support outside of the classroom, with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required. This is a dynamic and exciting role, ideal for anyone wishing to further their knowledge in SEND education. Pupils needs are mainly based around Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and forward-thinking team. The school is located in north Birmingham, within proximity to Lozells, Birchfield, Hockley and Birmingham City Centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £80-90 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants must be available to work full-time, Monday-Friday. This role is ideal for anyone looking to further their knowledge of SEND education.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Available for work full-time, Monday- Friday.
