143Job Description:Smile Education, Northwest is now recruiting for a full-time Mathematics Teacher for a secondary school based in the Wigan.

What will the role as a Mathematics Teacher involve?
- Preparing Mathematics teaching and learning materials.
- Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers.
- Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
- Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation.
- Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff.
- Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested.
What do you need to apply for the Mathematics Teacher role?
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
- A teaching qualification with QTS and experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 in line with the British Curriculum.
- A valid PGCE/QTS
- Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects.
- 2 education-based references in the last 24 months.
- A passion for teaching.
- Good approach to behaviour management.
- A determined, hard-working attitude.
