Role Overview: As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for science with students, fostering their curiosity and understanding of the natural world. In addition to teaching science subjects, you will also be responsible for covering some mathematics lessons, providing a well-rounded educational experience for students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that align with curriculum standards and objectives, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Inspire and motivate students to explore scientific concepts through hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and interactive activities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and collaborate with their peers.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and development.
• Cover mathematics lessons as needed, ensuring continuity of learning and providing support in mathematical concepts and skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and interdisciplinary learning opportunities that integrate science and mathematics.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this position.
• A passion for science education and a desire to inspire students in the subject.
• Previous experience teaching science and/or mathematics is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school environment.
• Commitment to providing a high standard of teaching and learning for all students.
