30Job Description:Do you want to become a Site Supervisor/Caretaker at a school based in south Birmingham or surrounding areas?
Smile Education are proud to support multiple schools in their search for a Site Supervisor on a contract basis starting as soon as possible as well as September start dates.
About the role:
- Start date: ASAP
- This fixed term position
- 1 x full full-time position and 1 x part time, working Monday-Friday, with the working hours 10am – 18:00pm & 14:00pm – 16:00pm
- Pay rate: £12-£16 ph
Your responsibilities:
- Closing and locking up the school site.
- Supervising cleaning staff.
- Stock check and ordering supplies.
- Fire alarm testing.
- General site maintenance and repairs.
- Liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs.
- Preparing the school site for larger events, e.g., Parents’ Evening.
The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site, ensuring the safety of all pupils, staff, and visitors. To be considered for this role you must have experience as a caretaker within the past 2 years.
