30Job Description:Do you want to become a Site Supervisor/Caretaker at a school in Birmingham?
 

Smile Education are proud to support a educational setting in Birmingham, in their search for a Site Supervisor on a long term contract starting as soon as possible.

 
About the role:

  • Start date: ASAP.
  • This position temporary long term position starting as soon as possible until July 2024.
  • Full-time position, working Monday-Friday, with the working hours either 08:00am-16:00pm or 10:00am-18:00pm – subject to the needs of the school.
  • Pay rate: £11-£15 PH 

Your responsibilities:

  • Closing and locking up the school site.
  • Supervising and supporting cleaning staff.
  • Stock check and ordering supplies.
  • Fire alarm testing.
  • General site maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs.
  • Preparing the school site for larger events, e.g., Parents’ Evening.

 

The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety regulations across the site, ensuring the safety of all pupils, staff, and visitors. You will also need to have proven experience working in a similar role within the past 2 years to be considered for this role.
