The establishment seeks a passionate Sales and Events Manager responsible for managing venue hire inquiries, overseeing larger events, maintaining client relationships, and creating bespoke proposals. Ideal candidates should have experience in hospitality sales, familiarity with booking platforms like DMN, and strong communication skills. The role requires flexibility, a resourceful mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with a commitment to working evenings and weekends.

Home to its own microbrewery and taproom in partnership with Meantime, born and brewed in Greenwich, its a space where quality and good times come first. We are currently looking for a Sales and Events Manager to join our team. The role will come with the following responsibilities:

  • Leading all site incoming enquiries for venue hire and large group bookings
  • Attend/managethe bigger events on the day to ensure that it is running smoothly, being the main point of contact for the client
  • Assist in managing the diary on our booking platform(DMN/ Collins)
  • Acting upon incoming enquiries as received in a timely manner
  • Developing and maintaining personable relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Sourcing local business, businesses, developingstrong relationships
  • Liaising with existing and prospective clients regarding their event requirements and creating bespoke proposals in line with company pricing policy
  • Upselling where possible to ensure maximum profitability of the event
  • Arranging & attending client viewings & tastings
  • Maintaining the event diary & CRM system
  • Raising detailed function sheets for each event,conveying concise details to managers/ event teams

About you

  • Experience of working within sales teams within hospitality industry
  • Experienceworking with DMN or other booking platforms
  • Resourceful with the ability to solve problems creatively and with limited guidance
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Flexible and hands-on, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
  • Confident speaking in public, networking, being brand ambassador for the venue
