Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, an established landscaping business in their search for a Sales Ledger Clerk to work within their Finance Team from their office location in St Asaph.

For the successful Sales Ledger Clerk our client is offering:

• up to £30,000 per annum 
• 8.30 – 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday ( , Hybrid Opportunity Available (1-2 days from home)
• Permanent 
• Holiday allowance of 22 days plus bank holidays (increasing by each year of service, up to a maximum of 26 days), Training provided, Medical cash plan, Christmas Shutdown, Free Lawn Treatments, Store Discounts 

The role – Sales Ledger Clerk : 

• Reduce debtor days, collect aged debts, resolve queries, and generally improve the cash position across the business
• Recommend Credit Notes where errors have been made in billing and follow this through to ensure they are raised in a timely manner and allocated correctly to invoices
• Ensure that all customer receipts are entered onto the customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner; including BACs and Cheque Payments
• Produce credit control and aged debt reports
• Support the Finance Team, performing any other duties

What our client is looking for in an Sales Ledger Clerk:

• Previous experience in a sales ledger / credit control position – ESSENTIAL 
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel – ESSENTIAL
• Accounting / Finance system knowledge – DESIREABLE 
• basic accounting process knowledge – DESIREABLE  
• Aged Ledger and Aged Debt finance processes – ESSENTIAL
