Hispania is seeking a Sales and Events Manager to enhance corporate dining and event management, focusing on securing corporate clients and overseeing event coordination. Hispania is a high-end independent group of Spanish restaurants with a flag-ship restaurant located in the heart of the City of London. Our clients are mainly professional City workers from banks, law firms and insurance companies as well as large corporates who use Hispania to entertain their customers and staff, and Spanish Institutions and regional governments who use our space as a platform to promote tourism and investments in their regions.
Under the supervision of our Michelin-starred chef, Marcos Morán, our menu is based on traditional Spanish recipes, and rated among the best Spanish culinary offers in London.
With an area of 10,000 sq. feet Hispania has been decorated by internationally renowned Spanish interior designer Lorenzo Castillo who created an elegant space that has become one of the most coveted culinary spaces in the City of London. Lorenzo Castillo has also decorated the two spaces that Hispania operates in Brussels.
Our annual turnover positions us in the top tier of the sales ranking of Spanish restaurants in Europe. The group is quickly expanding and will open more spaces worldwide in the coming years.
*Overview:*
We’re looking for a dynamic *Sales and Events Manager* to join our team at Hispania Restaurants Group. This role will focus on driving business growth, particularly through *corporate events* and managing a variety of *events* . The ideal candidate will have strong experience securing corporate clients, whether directly with large companies or via agencies, and will be ready to manage all types of sales inquiries—from corporate groups to family events.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Corporate Dining Sales & Business Development*:
* Proactively identify and secure group bookings from corporate clients, local businesses, and international groups.
* Leverage existing corporate contacts or build new relationships to drive repeat and new business.
* Work with agencies and event planners to bring in foreign corporate groups and local corporate clients.
* *Event Management*:
* Oversee group reservations and event coordination, from corporate dinners to family celebrations and networking events.
* Ensure seamless client experiences by collaborating closely with the operations team.
* *Team Leadership*:
* Manage the reservations assistant, providing training and support to achieve sales targets and deliver top-notch customer service.
* Set and monitor KPIs to track and maximize performance.
* *Sales & Marketing Strategy*:
* Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to promote corporate offers, special events, and group dining packages.
* Work on menu development and promotions tailored to group bookings and events.
* *Partnership Management*:
* Build and maintain relationships with agencies, offering commission structures to drive lead flow.
* Develop partnerships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies to secure high-value bookings.
*Requirements:*
* 3-5 years of sales and events experience in hospitality, with a focus on corporate dining and group bookings.
* Strong network of corporate contacts and a proven track record in generating corporate business.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Knowledge of the London hospitality market is a strong advantage.
