Deputy Ward Manager in a Premier Residential Treatment Facility

Are you a seasoned nursing professional ready to take on a leadership role in a supportive and dynamic environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join our client’s team on one of their acute wards, providing top-tier residential treatment to up to 38 service users.

About the Role: As the Deputy Ward Manager, you will be a crucial part of the nursing leadership team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Offering senior nursing leadership and support to the ward nursing team.
• Bringing clinical expertise and confidence to both the nursing team and the ward overall.
• Taking on delegated responsibilities from the Ward Manager, ensuring protected time for your duties, and supervising a designated group of staff.

Key Requirements: To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Registered Nurse (RMN).
• Clinical supervision experience (training is desirable).
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) with a commitment to ongoing learning and leadership development.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• At least 3 years of post-registration experience, or equivalent, in Acute Mental Health.
• Mentorship experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
