This role will assist in the planning of a multi-skilled team in managing the maintenance activities of JLR Paint Shop facilities in line with standardised processes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer, I design, implement, and optimise maintenance strategies and reliability programs to minimize equipment downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve overall asset performance.
- Coordinate the R&M activities working for the R&M Lead for Paint shop Maintenance
- Support the delivery of efficient performance within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People
- Work on delivering a Maintenance performance Brochure and identifying key areas to give knowledge to the Front-line maintenance team on where improvements need to be made in OEE
- Improve the planned maintenance programme by reviewing effectiveness of work schedules vs downtime
- Manage the movement of CMMS system onto SAP
- Develop the CBM activities to increase forward planning on equipment
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll need a technical background in maintenance as well as this you’ll need:
- Experience of resolving key constraints and demonstrate improvements through root cause analysis
- Understanding of maintenance systems and metrics
- Analytical Data management
- Microsoft office, Data Base (Excell, project etc.)
