Duck and Rice, an eclectic pub in Soho renowned for its exceptional Chinese cuisine, is seeking a full-time Host/Hostess. This role involves assisting the Reservation/Reception Manager by welcoming and farewelling guests, ensuring an outstanding dining experience through meticulous attention to detail and a personable approach. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of restaurant operations and have prior experience in a similar position. The position offers a salary of up to £13.00 per hour, along with benefits such as free staff meals, discounts, uniform provision, and opportunities for personal development. *Full time contract 35-48 hours per week*

The Role
The Host/Hostess role is to assist the Reservation/Reception Manager at the welcoming and departing of the guests. Your prime responsibility will be the ultimate guests experience, handling duties and special requests with unsurpassed attention to detail and care, whilst building rapport through a professional yet interpersonal connection. At all times the Restaurant Host/Hostessworks diligently and consistently to deliver the best service in line with the rules of etiquette and polite society standards.Skills and Experience requirements
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations. Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable.
- Immaculate grooming and presentable.
- A natural Team player with a high degree of flexibility
