Location: Sheffield, hybrid

Our client is a fast growing software provider in the hotel industry. Their events industry booking platform is creating opportunities for hotels and events organisers to make a seamless process and create revenue opportunities for both parties. They are looking for someone to join their reservations team to work closely with events organisers, and attendees. You will get to work in a fast paced environment, in a growing business, and in a hybrid setting

About the role:

We are really excited to be working on this reservations consultant role. You will be working closely with hotels on room allocation, dealing with contracts, amendments and maintaining relationships with hotels and customers. You will have busy days that are never the same and work over live chat, telephone and email. This would suit someone that has experience in events or hotel reservations that already has inside knowledge of the business, and experience working with OTA’s would be a massive bonus

Responsibilities:

• Delivering weekly and monthly KPIs
• Account management with hotels and regular customers, being their main point of call
• Coordinating with other team members
• Keeping updated records and using the CRM
• Negotiating contracts and room allocations

Desired skills and experience

• Experience in hotel, events, travel or concierge
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Self motivated and positive
• Curious and entrepreneurial approach
