About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Reservation Agent to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Process telephone and email reservations according to room and rate availability, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained and input accordingly into Opera.
- Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the hotels policy is adhered to at all times.
- Process all SynXis reservations and extranet messages ensuring that all bookings are accurate.
- To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures.
- To ensure that all reservations standards and procedures are met with regard to reservations and system input.
- Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate.
About the job:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience as a reservation agent role in a 5 Star Front Office or Reservations Department.
- Excellent level of English.
- Competent computer skills, word, excel, power point.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Effective organizational skills, able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a demanding workload.
