An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a respected and expanding children’s residential care provider. This position offers the chance to open and manage a brand-new two-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children’s home in Derbyshire.
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the home’s operations — ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, delivering outstanding outcomes for young people, and creating a safe, nurturing, and stable environment.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s residential home
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation
* Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated care team
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with the organisation’s values
* Drive continuous improvement, safeguarding excellence, and positive outcomes for children and young people
* Foster a supportive and professional culture focused on quality, safety, and staff development
*Requirements*
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services)
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager within an EBD, SEMH, or similar children’s home setting
* Excellent understanding of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
* Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
* A proactive and values-driven approach to service development and quality improvement
