About the role
Marlowe SRC are recruiting for an experienced talent professional to join the people team. Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading and managing all Divisional recruitment, along with all aspects of learning and development within the Division.
Key Duties:
- Taking ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial approval of a role and advertising, through to onboarding and inductions.
- Managing agency relationships, ensuring costs are minimised.
- Utilising appropriate attraction and search methods, such as job boards, careers fairs and direct approaches.
- Ensuring all candidates receive a good experience throughout the process and providing tailored feedback to unsuccessful candidates after interview.
- Grow, develop and maintain a pool of contacts for direct sourcing.
- Working with Team Directors to proactively plan resource requirements.
- Creation of all internal training, including presentation on both face to face and online basis
- Management of external training requests, including knowledge sharing and team debriefs.
- Management of professional qualification sponsorship, ensuring a consistent approach is taken throughout the division.
- Align current appraisal process across the division, ensuring ongoing support and monitoring of appraisals.
- Reporting on key recruitment and L&D metrics
What you will need
Essential
- Proven experience with an internal recruitment role
- Experience of planning, developing and running training courses
- Maintenance of relevant professional memberships.
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work on own initiative and pro-active approach to problem solving.
- Honest, trustworthy and able to work with integrity.
- Customer focused with excellent communication skills – listening, speaking and writing – able to build relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Desired
- Prior experience in H&S Consultancy/Software/Development recruitment roles
- CIPD Qualified
