Pertemps Reading are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our busy city centre office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of experienced consultants and administrators in a rewarding environment.

What’s on offer:
– £25,000 – £28,000 per annum basic, DoE
– Uncapped competitive commission structure
– 24 days holiday per year (+ Bank holidays)
– Earn an extra day of annual leave for each calendar year you work (Up to 5 years)

The successful Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for;
– Attracting candidates by drafting and placing adverts on social media and job boards
– Screen and Interview candidates and complete relevant checks
– Managing and building relationships with our large active client base and their key contacts
– Recruiting, interviewing and managing temporary workers
– Screen and Interview candidates and complete relevant checks
– Developing your business in the industrial sector – with a focus on quality over quantity
– Consulting with clients and candidates to provide solutions to recruitment needs
– Regularly visiting clients to gain new business and maintain relationships
– Dealing with Payroll for temporary workers and invoicing clients

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills;
– You will be an experienced recruiter who is a self-motivated and a pro-active individual or if you have a sales background and looking for a career change this could be the right role for you
– Outgoing and positive attitude is essential together with strong candidate attraction and business development skills
– Highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure
– Excellent communication skills dealing with people at all levels over the telephone and in person
– Ability to build rapport with clients and candidates
