Reception Supervisor – Nights

Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Night Reception Supervisorwho will be responsible for supervising the smooth running of reception during the course of a shift ensuring that the required standards of guest care are maintained. To liaise with the Night Manager to ensure that procedures and training are constantly monitored.

The Night Reception Supervisor Key Responsibilities will include:

• To ensure under the guidance of Night Manager that the highest level of service is provided to all guests and clients of the hotel to maximise guest satisfaction.
• To be fully conversant payment of services, registration of guests, security & emergency procedures as well as data protection and ensure they are complied with at all times.
• To deal with any guest query or problems during the guest’s stay and ensure that guests are being looked after and follow up made.
• To be able to handle the guests’ departures as per our standards of performance.
• To help the Night Manager to complete the night run of all systems as per our standard procedures and ensure that the requested reports are printed, the daily work of the Front Desk checked and corrected if necessary and forwarded to our Accounting Department.
• To be able to deal with all reservations enquiries, adhering to correct selling procedures and rates in order to maximise revenue.

The Experience & Qualifications for Night Reception Supervisor:

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
• Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.

The successful candidate will be:

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
• Team worker
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
