Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

Recruit4Staff is representing a National Demolition Services Company in their search for a Quantity Surveyor in Leeds. The successful candidate will earn up to £60,000 per annum and work Monday to Friday in a permanent role. The role requires administering the quantity surveying function on remediation projects, ensuring ethical commercial activities, managing contract changes and subcontractor procurement, and having knowledge of standard construction contracts. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification is essential, along with 3+ years of post-graduate experience. Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or land remediation is desirable.

The Role – Quantity Surveyor:

2. Previous experience in administering the quantity surveying function on remediation projects
3. Ensuring all Commercial Activities are performed in an ethical manner while maintaining a competitive position
4. Action contract change management and subcontractor procurement
5. Knowledge of the standard construction contracts including JCT, NEC3 and NEC4
6. Visit projects as and when required

What we are looking for in a Quantity Surveyor:

2. Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar industry-recognised qualification – ESSENTIAL
3. 3 years plus, post-graduate experience – ESSENTIAL
4. Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or land remediation – DESIREABLE
5. Full UK Driver License – ESSENTIAL
