A global leading manufacturer in Bicester, Oxfordshire is seeking a Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Engineer. The role involves administering, inspecting, and organizing quality processes, as well as monitoring and testing assembled products. The successful candidate must have experience in a quality-related role within an engineering environment and be knowledgeable in QMS and ISO9001. The position offers a salary of £36,000 – £38,000, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme. The candidate must be within a commutable distance to Bicester.
Job Description:Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Engineer required to join a global leading manufacturer based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Engineer will have experience in the administration, inspection, and organisation of all the quality processes to comply with standards or the monitoring, testing, and quality of assembled products. Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Engineer Role
- Support the Quality Manager to continually improve the company’s systems or operational processes.
- Work with the production teams to ensure the conformance of goods: monitoring, testing and reporting the quality of products.
- Understanding of root cause analysis and process improvement.
- Using QMS (Quality Management Systems)
- Working and testing of electronic assemblies and quality testing of PCBs.
- Reporting of assembled products, collating, analysis, and presenting data.
- Inspection of purchased materials, components and assemblies.
- Working in an ISO9001 environment
Requirements
- Experience in a quality-related role within an engineering environment.
- Experience in managing QMS (Quality Management Systems) and production documentation.
- Experience as a Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / QA Engineer
- Engineering qualification – beneficial.
- Knowledge of electronics as well as a technical background
- Ability to fault-find and diagnose issues in existing products.
- Proactively liaise with the Quality Manager to ensure faults or defects are noted and actioned.
- Being comfortable to be hands-on with tasks and motivated to own projects and drive them forward without delay.
- Experience working with ISO9001.
