What you will be doing.

Conduct quality assurance sampling activities of EPA assessments in line with the Quality strategy Complete audit checks on assessments, across all standards in line with the Quality Strategy Support with appeals & investigations Carry out Observations of assessment in line with the Quality Strategy remotely or face to face Gather structured feedback from Apprentices and Employers using accessible and inclusive methods to ensure continuous improvement Conduct scheduled observations of invigilation activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and accessibility requirement Manage the Sector Quality Tracker to ensure that all EQA organisation standards and our own internal Quality Assurance policies are maintained Support EPA’s with assessment methodology remotely or face to face Manage and monitor the automated QA system ensuring that sampling percentages are maintained in line with EPA’s RAG status.

Complete detailed EPA RAG status justifications ensuring they are monitored in line with the Quality Strategy Where required provide Personal Development Plans that are SMART and support the EPA’s to achieve actions To ensure that sampling follows the internal quality assurance strategy To support with monitoring of EPA’s occupational CPD (including Back to the Floor activities) ensuring all are completed and logged annually Ensure CPD reflects Company and specific industry requirements Plan and carry out sector standardisations in line with the Standard requirements Attend QA Standardisation meetings Provide accessible and tailored induction sessions for new EPA’s, ensuring materials accommodate different learning needs Prepare and support with External Quality Assurance visits Administration of individual EPA Quality Files – including CVs, Certificates, PDP plans, etc.

Contribute to EPA 1-2-1s, providing required information to EPAMs where required Maintain a caseload of 2/3 apprentices for EPA to ensure practice remains current Maintain and enhance relationships with the Development Team to support in development and implementation of new or revised Standards What will you bring to the role? Assessing qualification (CAVA or equivalent) IQA qualification (IQA or equivalent) Significant passenger transport experience to at least occupational level 2 Functional Skills or equivalent level 2 in Maths, English Proficient user of ICT systems (e.g.

EPA Pro, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Skype, etc).

Experience of working in high-demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines Strong communication and self-motivation skills Experience of working autonomously Experience of operating as a QA within WBL/education environment Ability to use a range of IT systems Experience in administrative roles (e.g.

completing reports and maintaining records) Commitment to ensuring fair and inclusive assessment practices in line with equal opportunities policies.

Excellent time management skills Ability to work independently while accessing support as needed, within a structured framework Excellent written and verbal communication skills, an exceptional communicator with a passion for developing a team.
