The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company’s diverse fleet of sleeper coaches and splitter vans. They will need to have a Level 3 NVQ in PSV or HGV maintenance, repair, and diagnostics, as well as a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience. The position is full-time, with overtime available during busy periods, and offers a salary of £40,000 – £47,500 per annum. Responsibilities:

• As a key member of our mechanical maintenance team, your duties will include:
• Conducting vehicle servicing in accordance with company policies
• Performing Periodic Maintenance Inspections to company and DVSA standards
• Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOTs
• Diagnosing vehicle faults, specifying repair methods, and handling warranty claims
• Ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork and maintenance records
• Maintaining workshop tidiness and returning tools to designated areas
• Providing roadside assistance for vehicle breakdowns
• Conducting road tests to identify specific defects or after repairs

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A Level 3 NVQ in PSV or HGV maintenance, repair, and diagnostics, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in mechanical and electrical systems
• A PSV license would be advantageous but not mandatory
• Welding experience (Desirable)
• Proven knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and maintain focus with a proactive “can-do” attitude
