60Job Description:Role Purpose 

• The purpose of this role is to provide an effective minor through to extensive works maintenance surveying service to all (void and occupied) properties, to assess condition and identify building defects, to diagnose and prepare specification of works and obtaining quotations.

• You will be expected to assess the issue and the risks and to make decisions to mitigate the risks to ensure the safety of the residents and the standard of our property.

Responsibilities 

• To work within the Temporary Accommodation Service team working alongside property and acquisitions negotiators, property management officers and finance officers.

• You will be expected to have contact with Rehousing and lettings, legal services, repairs service and landlord and agents.

• You will also be responsible for the Hand back of Homes for Councils Leasing properties, leading on the dilapidation and disrepair claims from property owners from inception to completion.

Requirements 

• Ability to provide an effective minor through to extensive works maintenance surveying service to all (void and occupied) properties.

• Ability to assess condition and identify building defects, to diagnose and prepare specification of works and obtaining quotations.

• Ability to assess the issue and the risks and to make decisions to mitigate the risks to ensure the safety of the our residents and the standard of our property.

Contract 

• Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend

• PAYE via Umbrella

• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
