SALARY: £60,000 – £75,000 + Package

About Our Client:
They are a regional Main Contractor who have been established nearly 50 years. Operating from one office, the business has grown to become a household name in East Anglia and the surrounding Counties. As a business, they typically deliver projects up to £20m with the core being £3m – £10m. The sectors they work in include; Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Residential. This company have a very low staff turnover as people are at the heart of the business.
The Role:
A No.1 on site, either a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager is required for a new project due to start in Cambridge. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects on site from managing sub-contractors to making sure the project is delivered on time. You will liaise with the commercial team ensuring budgets are met.
The Applicant:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience leading multiple projects from start to finish
- Experience leading projects valued between £5m and £15m as a No.1
- Worked as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager for a Main Contractor
- The ability to travel to south Suffolk, Essex and Cambridge for future projects
- A strong and stable CV showing longevity and progression.
It is desirable to have:
- Further related education such as, a Construction Management Degree
- Worked for a Tier 1 or 2 Main Contractor
