Project Manager

Futures is collaborating with a West Yorkshire-based manufacturer that has recently secured several new accounts and is seeking to hire a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing projects from design to completion, adept at stakeholder management. The role requires overseeing multiple high-volume component projects while ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery. Key responsibilities include managing project phases, avoiding cost overruns, and liaising with the engineering team. The successful Project Manager will be organised, professional in customer interactions, and committed to team development, ensuring that all project objectives meet client expectations.

Futures are working with a West Yorkshire based manufacturer who have recently acquired several new accounts and are looking to appoint a Project Manager to support. The successful Project Manager must be well versed and have overseen projects from Design though to completion with the ability to manage stakeholders internally and externally throughout the process.

Our client manufacture high volume components, so a Project manager who has experience managing several projects at any given time is essential.

We are looking for a Project Manager with a naturally organised manner, experience of running multiple projects, and a desire to take responsibility to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget to the satisfaction of the client.

Responsibilities – Project Manager

* Manage projects from pre-start and induction through to completion, commissioning and handover
* Avoiding project cost overruns and ensuring variation orders are obtained prior to carrying out any additional, unplanned works on site
* Reviewing sales orders and manage installation sites
* Take responsibility for ensuring the engineering team work to, and within, the agreed Scope of Works

Skills – Project Manager

* Ensure all customer interactions are carried out in a professional and courteous manner, acting as the first point of contact for customers throughout the installation process and communicating the correct information to colleagues within the Projects Team
* Work within the Projects Team to achieve all planned delivery and installation timescales on or before due dates
* Motivate, coach, and assist in the development of the team, providing support and encouragement to ensure individuals are able to fulfil the responsibilities of their roles, whilst meeting or exceeding the expectations of the client
