111Job Description:We are currently looking to recruit a Project Controller. This role will be working as part of the Programme Management Office (PMO) embedded into the Delivery Offices within Capital Delivery. The Project Controller will maintain and assure key project data on the delivery of the capital projects through the business systems and tools (i.e., SAP, and P6) throughout the project or programme lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing as a Project Controller
The Project Controller needs to ensure the maintenance of accurate programme and project baselines (cost and schedule) of a capital programme of circa £1bn per annum over the AMP. You will be responsible for gathering, inputting and providing information on the cost performance of the programme to the Delivery Office management team in conjunction with the Delivery Planner and Reporting Analysts within the Reporting and Controls teams.
This role also includes assuring the milestone and cost data from the contracting partners, quality-checking cost data and milestone integrity across the systems, and providing any appropriate challenges required on non-financial information. Pivotal attendee at project reviews is expected, to challenge and inform the data provided by delivery teams for Value of Work Done (VOWD), and to offer Planning, Project, Programme and Delivery Managers early insight into the numbers reported.

36 hours a week Monday to Friday
We are looking for you to have:
- Proven delivery experience, ideally with regulatory reporting experience gained in a commercial or project controls environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills and use of Office 365 reporting Packages.
- A good working knowledge of SAP and awareness of Planning Software (preferably Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project).
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Assure system data integrity and alignment with current governed / change decision correcting where identified.
- Effective communication and influencing skills in writing and orally.
