Our client is a well established manufacturer based in Brighouse currently on the hunt for a Multi-skilled Operative.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES –
– Operating machinery in a manufacturing setting
– Leading a small team
– Working in a fast paced environment
-Weighing and mixing ingredients – Chemicals
– Working to strict H&S regulations
– Production planning
– Ensuring KPI’s are adhered to
– Effective communication
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ and ATTITUDE
- Previous mixing / milling experience
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Previous experience in a technical role
- Fork Lift Truck license (preferred)
- An eye for detail and good communication skills
- Dedication to seeing a job through in a timely manner
- Hardworking ethic / self-starter, good physical fitness.
- Conscientious and good timekeeping
- As a more senior individual on the shop-floor, you are responsible for identifying and raising improvements to production to senior management as appropriate.
HOURS OF WORK
- (Monday to Thursday) 7:30am to 5pm, Friday (7:30 to 12pm).
- Note: one day per week (Monday to Thursday only), you will work a later shift 11:30am to 9pm instead of 7:30 to 5pm. Ability to work flexible hours, is essential. Typical work
