As the Production Planner, you’ll be working closely with the Production team to schedule work according to customer requirements, and with the Procurement team to understand any constraints potentially affecting sales orders completion dates.

The successful Production Planner will benefit from:

•A salary of 28k pa + an annual bonus scheme
•Monday – Friday 08:00 17:00
•21 days annual leave, rising 1 day per year up to 25 days (plus bank holidays)

As the Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:

•Responsibility for the scheduling and coordinating of products from sales orders through manufacturing to completion
•Management of the planning and scheduling of works orders to ensure sales orders are planned according to customer lead time and shipped on time in full
•Preparing MRP to ensure it runs effectively and is processed as per agreed schedule
•Working closely with the Procurement team to ensure any issues identified potentially affecting sales orders and works orders are dealt with in a timely manner
•Being the main point of contact for all sales order status updates and queries including escalation of issues and reporting on any delays on a weekly basis
•Working closely with key stakeholders to review and improve current processes

Who we’re looking for:

If you’re from a manufacturing background with strong planning experience then apply today. We are looking for a team player with a strong desire to succeed and a ‘can do’ attitude. Must be confident handling daily queries independently and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also need experience using SAGE 200 ERP or a similar ERP/MRP system, demonstrate a high level of initiative and have the ability to influence key stakeholders.
