A company in Redditch is looking to hire a Sales & Procurement Coordinator due to continued growth. The position requires previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food or retail industry. Responsibilities include supplier liaison and negotiation, sales and purchase order processing, and stock control. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and be highly numerate. The job also requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as strong IT skills. A UK driving license and own transport are necessary.

Procurement Coordinator
Redditch
£25,000 – £30,000

Due to continued growth, our client are recruiting for a Sales & Procurement Coordinator to join their existing team.

Previous Experience
Experience in a similar role / knowledge of the Food / Retail Industry would be hugely beneficial.
Understanding of the commercial process relating to the sourcing of goods / products.
Experience in Supplier liaison / negotiation, Inc. Margin / P&L comprehension.
Market (Food and Drink industry) awareness / insight / analysis capability.
Experience in Sales Order & Purchase Order Processing
Excellent communication skills with experience of dealing with Suppliers and Customers.
Responsibility for coordinating the processing of customer (sales orders) and supplier (purchase orders).
New Supplier / Product setup and existing Supplier / Product maintenance (NPD process, IT system setup).
Stock control / waste analysis capability, understanding stock holding versus customer forecasting / rate of sale.
Liaison with the Fine Foods Supplier base to ensure all levels of service expectations are being met.

Key Requirements: –
Own transport and full UK Driving License (based full time at our Worcestershire Head Office).
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, using own initiative.
Highly numerate with strong diligence / attention to detail.
Completion and recording of all company documentation as required.
Flexibility (prepared to perform any other reasonable requested duties as requested).
Strong / confident IT skills (Inc. Excel experience).
