Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a *Principal Psychologist *to work within a *community *facing *inpatient rehab* service based in *Walsall.*
*Role snapshot:*
The candidate appointed will provide thorough psychological *assessments*, *formulations *and *1-2-1* therapeutic *interventions*. You will administer and review *psychometric *tests to support *diagnostic* processes, and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will facilitate *group therapy* sessions where required and develop *treatment plans* bespoke to individual patient needs.
You will also be a key contributor to *service development*, *care planning* and review alongside *audit *and *research*.
*Contract type* – fixed term contract, 9-12 months
*Hours* – full time, 37.5 hours per week
*Salary* – £58,250 – £68,250 FTE
*Experience required:*
The ideal candidate will be registered with the *HCPC*, and have extensive prior experience providing *1-2-1 / group therapy* with *adults *and various *moderate *to *severe *mental health presentations.
