Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:
A company in Kidderminster is seeking a Press Brake Setter to work in their manufacturing/engineering company. The position pays £14.50 per hour and requires 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday. The main duties of the role include setting and operating the Amada press machine, working from drawings and measurements, and conducting first off inspections. The ideal candidate should have previous experience setting and operating press machines, specifically Amada or Trumpf machines, and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position. Manufacturing Workforce is responsible for placing skilled individuals in engineering, technical, and manufacturing roles.
Job Description:
Position: Press Brake Setter
Pay: £14.50 press brake setter
Area: Kidderminster
Hours: Monday to Friday Days 40 hours per week
to work within a busy manufacturing / engineering company
Day to Day duties will include the following:
* Setting and operating the Amada press machine
* Working from drawing and measurement’s
* Set up and first off inspection for all work
* Working from fold list to keep welders stocked up with work
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* Previous experience Setting and operating
* Experience with Amada or Trumpf press machines
* 2 years’ experience in a similar position
