An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre-school or Nursery Manager seeking a term-time role at a charming small preschool in Maidenhead. The role involves managing all aspects of the preschool, leading a dedicated team, overseeing budget management, and maintaining communication with parents regarding their children's progress. Applicants should possess a degree or certification in Early Childhood Education, alongside proven childcare management experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with regulatory requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and supervise all aspects of the Pre-school, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Lead a small team of dedicated staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain exceptional standards of care.

Oversee budget management, occupancy targets, and effective communication with parents regarding their child’s progress.

Implement health and safety procedures, curriculum guidelines, and quality assurance measures.

Conduct staff performance evaluations, recruitment, and retention efforts to ensure a cohesive team environment.

Act as a liaison between staff, parents, regulatory bodies, and management to ensure smooth operations.

EXPERIENCE Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education.

Proven experience in childcare management with a focus on leadership and staff development.

Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with staff, parents, and stakeholders.

Ability to effectively manage budgets, plan strategically, and drive commercial success.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements, EYFS guidelines, and best practices in childcare.

Previous experience in implementing parent engagement programs and maintaining positive relationships within the community.
