30Job Description:Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a thriving primary school located in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a part-time PPA Teacher to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently seeking a part-time PPA Teacher to join this vibrant team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be working 2 days per week, to provide support mainly across KS2. The school can offer some flexibility in which 2 days would be best for applicants, this will need to be agreed prior to the start of the new academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving primary school at the heart of it’s local community. The school is located within proximity to Saltley, Nechells, Alum Rock and Birmingham City Centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £150-220 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Applicants should have strong subject knowledge, particularly in supporting pupils across KS2. You should be available to work on a part-time basis Monday-Friday, working 2 days per week. Some flexibility can be offered as working patterns, however this will need to be arranged prior to the summer holidays.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Available to work part-time (2 days per week), Monday- Friday
- Confident in delivering pre-planned materials, with strong differentiation skills
