Siamo Recruitment are working alongside a world class car restoration specialist based in South Cerney. Our client delivers re-imagined, modified, and restored classic cars throughout the UK and European market.
This specific role requires a specialist Mechanic who has worked with Porsche’s, specifically 911 and 356’s. This role will have you working with bespoke and beautiful. Due to exciting growth in projects our client seeks a Mechanic to join their prizewinning, and triumphant business.
You will have the opportunity to work with best in their field, contributing your craftsmanship and expertise into projects along side advanced small teams.
Stripping engines and carrying out diagnostics for repairs will be second nature as you rebuild engines to the highest standard including detailed measuring and blueprinting.
This Position offers the opportunity to become part of a reputable company, playing a crucial role in future business ventures and projects.

This Mechanic (Porsche) vacancy will have the following responsibilities:
- Carry out full diagnostics and planning repairs and/or modifications
- Adapting throughout builds to the incorporation of contemporary automotive technology into classic vehicles.
- To be confident in the assembly of sub assemblies
- To be confident in the mechanical assembly from a shell to a complete car
Our client will be looking for the below experience and qualifications:
- Previous exposure within a similar or same role in the automotive industry essential
- Working with Porsche engines is essential
- Significant experience as a mechanic on classic class being advantageous
- An enthusiasm for the incorporation of contemporary automotive technology into classic vehicles.
- Expert attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure under own initiative
- Confident working independently and closely with a small team
- Strong and meticulous communication between departments and other individuals within workshop
