TTM Healthcare Solutions, in partnership with the *Community Care Directorate *is recruiting a *Band 6 Peripatetic Occupational Therapist *to provide high-quality care across acute medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation settings in *Coleraine*.
This dynamic role involves working flexibly across Trust sites to assess and manage a varied caseload, including patients with complex and neurological conditions. You will play a key role in supporting safe discharge, promoting recovery, and delivering responsive, person-centred interventions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to integrated care across multiple clinical environments.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Independently manage a defined caseload, prioritising in line with service needs.
* Conduct client-centred assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools.
* Implement evidence-based treatment plans to promote functional independence.
* Prescribe equipment and minor adaptations to support safe discharge.
* Provide professional advice to patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Fabricate or assess for splints when clinically indicated.
* Supervise and support junior and support staff, including students.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audit and service evaluation.
* Participate in training, CPD, and service development activities.
* Adhere to Trust and professional standards, including infection control, safeguarding, and confidentiality.
* Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and across locations as required.
*Essential Criteria:*
* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registration
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (unless exempt)
*Skills and Knowledge:*
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Experience managing complex clinical cases including neurological presentations
* Proficiency in therapeutic interventions, discharge planning, and inter-agency liaison
* Understanding of trends in Health & Social Care, including Bobath and rehabilitation concepts
