A prominent Financial Services organization based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Benefits & Payroll Manager. Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Director, the role involves leading the benefits and payroll team, designing and implementing benefits programs, managing payroll activities, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in benefits and payroll management, team management skills, knowledge of ADP platforms, and technical knowledge of benefit and payroll practices in the UK and Europe. The salary is up to £85,000, plus bonus and benefits.

Network HR have been retained to appoint an experienced Benefits & Payroll Manager r for a prominent Financial Services organisation, based in Manchester.

Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Director this role will directly lead the benefits and payroll team in Manchester. This is a player/manager role and will act as Deputy to the C&B Director.

The role is accountable for the design, implementation, administration and ongoing evaluation of the Company’s benefits programs, policies and procedures within the UK and European operations. The role is also responsible for the direct management of the internal payroll team and payroll providers, ensuring excellent employee experience, compliance adherence and regulatory and legal requirements.

Benefits:
• Design, delivery and management of all benefit programmes across all UK & Europe operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, including work council and labour agreements.
• Ensuring market benchmarking of offering remains competitive and making proactive recommendations where required.
• Ensure all benefits including leave benefits and Wellbeing related programmes designed and operated on a fully compliant basis i.e. adhere to all local statutory / regulatory requirements. Ensuring Workday configuration meets both organisation and user needs.
• Manage performance and service delivery of all benefits vendors, brokers, consultants and systems providers, resolving issues promptly and safeguarding the interests of the Company
• Manage technical Benefits communications, devising solutions that incorporate automation and self-service, and delivering training as appropriate
• Vendor management and budget management

Payroll:
• Accountable for management of all payroll activities across all of UK & Europe operation in adherence with legal, regulatory and financial frameworks and requirements.
• Ensure employee queries are effectively managed and resolved within SLA timeframes.
• Accountable for developing and adherence to all payroll controls and delineation of duties across HR Payroll and Finance
• Will manage and be accountable for timely and efficient statutory pay-overs to government, regulatory and statutory bodies.
• Will drive efficiency of processing through the payroll process for utilisation of Workday integration.
• Will manage ADP relationships and vendor services to ensure appropriate support and service delivery.

Candidate background:
• An experience team manager with demonstrable evidence of working with wider business leaders.
• Relevant experience in benefits and payroll management –subject matter expert.
• Experience of working with ADP platforms.
• Ability to identify problems, scenario plan, fix and deliver.
• Technical knowledge of benefit and payroll practices and applicable laws across UK and Europe
