A manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa is seeking a Paint Sprayer to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for paint preparation, masking, spray painting, and ensuring the application of primer and topcoat are flawless. Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required. The pay rate for this position is £18.29 per hour.

Temp -Perm
Leamington Spa
Rotating weekly shifts – Monday to Thursday and on Friday and 14.30-23.00 Monday to Thursday and 12.00-18.00 on Friday

Our client is a world leading, manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They specialise in heavy duty vehicles and are looking for a Paint Sprayer to join their team on a temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent.
As a Paint Sprayer you will be responsible for paint preparation, masking, spray painting and ensuring the application of primer and topcoat are flawless. This is a varied and challenging position for the successful candidate, which will draw from a broad range of skills including problem solving, multitasking, teamwork, and attention to detail.

The successful Paint Sprayer would ideally have experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or Automotive environment and able to work under pressure and to achieve tight deadlines.

Paint Sprayer– Role & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of panels for painting including prime, prep and masking
  • Paint spraying using 2K and polyurethane paint to the required quality standard.
  • Adjust and maintain spray equipment.
  • Prepare jigs and fixtures.
  • Clean out spray booths.
  • Flattening, polishing, and mopping.
  • Ensure all parts and panels are audited with relevant sign off.

Paint Sprayer – Key Skills Required:

  • Must have Paint Spraying experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to create a flawless finish.
  • Willingness to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • Knowledge and practical understanding of H&S, C.O.S.H and environmental procedures
  • Flexibility to work overtime as and when required
