Job Summary by the Career Balance Team:

A specialist orthodontist is needed to join 1-2 established, mixed practices in Bathgate and Airdrie. The role is to work 2-5 days per week, with flexible hours. Both practices are fully equipped with digital technology and have a supportive team. There are 400 patients on the waiting lists at each practice. Salary and percentages are negotiable, and lab bills will be split 50%. Candidates must be fully qualified, GDC registered, and have UK practice experience. Preferably, they should be on the specialist list, but dentists with a special interest will also be considered.

Job Description:A new opportunity has become available for an Specialist Orthodontist to join 1-2 established, mixed practices located in Bathgate and Airdrie.

Start date – As soon as possible.

This role is to work 2-5 days per week, covering 1-2 practices. Days/hours can be flexible and negotiable.

Consisting of 3/4 surgeries, both practices are fully equipped and computerised using Systems for Dentists. Both practices are fully equipped with Digital OPG/Ceph, iTerro Scanners, and Carestream Scanners.

Good support staff, including orthodontic therapists and radiologically qualified nurses. Friendly team. Mentoring principal.

There are a list of 400 patients at each practice on the waiting lists.

Salary/Percentages are negotiable, based on experience and qualifications. Lab bills are to be split 50%.

Fee-per-item of service in Scotland with no limit on number of patients seen.

Preferable to be on the specialist list but would also consider Dentist with Special Interest (DwSI). All candidates must be fully qualified and GDC registered with UK practice experience.
