Operations Director
Multi-faceted Leisure Business – SE London / Kent
A unique Operations Director opportunity is now available for a proven senior level individual with a broad operational and commercial background. My client has an excellent reputation for leisure and wellness provision and is based in the South East of England.
The Operations Director will oversee the overall strategic direction of operations, developing and implementing strategies and policies to ensure that the organisation will meet the goals determined by the Senior Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a continuously improving excellent operational member experience, which maximises performance against company performance targets
- Maximise the performance of the existing business through, capital investment, new products or services and promotional campaigns
- Drive quality standards and assurance across all the operational businesses, including standards in member experience and audit, risk and compliance
- Lead our operational teams effectively and efficiently, so they are highly engaged and high performing
- Initiate, develop and maintain effective external facing relationships to enhance the company profile and brand, gaining opportunities to have a positive social impact on people lives as well as growing the business.
Candidate Experience:
- Driving high performance across multiple businesses and business sectors to meet social, commercial and key business targets
- Working in rapidly changing environment
- Strong influencing, negotiating and stakeholder management skills
- Driving quality and consistency in performance through a robust operational culture
- Proven track record of managing complex large scale budgets
- Up to date detailed knowledge of the leisure and wellness sectors
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline. An additional business qualification would be advantageous
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
