The role of Security Operations Controller is currently being advertised, offering a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum. The position requires successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check and involves working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, with weekend shifts. The main responsibilities of the role include administration and customer service duties, monitoring security systems, handling cash transactions, and maintaining payment records. The successful candidate should possess a valid driving license and demonstrate strong attention to detail and IT literacy. Adaptability to a rotating schedule and a commitment to maintaining high service standards is also required.

Job Description:Become an integral part of our client’s team as a Security Operations Controller, specializing in administrative and customer service functions that are crucial
to ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities.

This role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum and requires successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm
  • Sunday: 11 am – 4 pm (work one weekend and enjoy two days off)
  • Rotational Schedule: 23 days of holidays, working 4/5 days out of 7
  • Commitment to a 7-day operation, involving weekend work

Role Overview: As a Operations Controller, you will focus on the efficient administration of security and fire systems, CCTV monitoring, access control systems operation,
cash transactions handling, and payment recordkeeping. While prior knowledge in security and fire systems is advantageous, we are open to training the right candidate.
This position operates within a small team, emphasizing the importance of effective communication with staff and customers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration & Customer Service duties 
  • Monitor CCTV and operate access control systems.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain payment records.
  • Respond promptly to all incidents or operational requirements, regardless of time or personal inconvenience.
  • Possess a valid driving license for potential interactions with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and IT literacy.
  • Uphold security awareness and operate within strict protocols.
  • Maintain a calm and polite demeanor when dealing with customers, whether in person or over the phone.
  • Drive enthusiasm for the business’s growth and contribute to maintaining and improving current service levels.
