50Job Description:We are currently recruiting for an Operational Support Administrator to support our recently insourced Repair & Maintenance (R&M) function within Water Networks, Thames Water.

Your role will be key to the successful operational delivery of the repair and maintenance service to our customers through the effective set up of our R&M teams.

The location of this role is at Darenth – Kent – DA2 7SR
Working hours – Monday-Friday 36 hours per week

What you will be doing as an Operational Support Administrator

  • Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of supplier R&M teams in a timely manner
  • Support the set up of new direct hire R&M teams
  • The set-up activity includes, but is not limited too:
  • Engagement with fleet on commercial vehicle requirements, delivery dates and location and permits to drive
  • Engagement with Learning & Development and Health & Safety on training certification and induction and skills training planning
  • Supporting on creation and sharing of individual induction training plans
  • Supporting on the collation of alignment of R&M teams to line manager and information relevant parties for system updates
  • Engagement with digital to support the timely delivery of IT equipment and systems access creation
  • Tracking of training requirements and certification of the R&M teams
  • Pro-actively raising risks and gaps in information provided by supplier teams
  • Ensuring permit to drive compliance across the teams
  • Managing the pre-employment medical screening requirements for direct hire R&M teams

 What should you bring to the role?

  • Be pro-active and organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a tenacious and resilient individual with the ability to work with confidence in a challenging and reactive environment
  • Be comfortable liaising with the frontline R&M teams as well as other internal departments within Thames Water
  • Be fully competent at using IT systems and Office software (especially Excel)

  • We are offering a salary up to £34,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
  • 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays).
