Job Description:Unlock Your Leadership Potential! We have a lovely setting in North London, close to Hackney, seeking a Deputy Room Leader to join their dynamic nursery team!

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the learning experiences of young minds, working closely with your Room Leader to create a stimulating and supportive environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to the growth and development of both the children and the team.

This setting is a short walk from overland, tube and local bus routes. It is a magnificent building with purpose designed rooms, which offers a light and airy space for the children to learn and grow in a safe and secure environment. This nursery offers high quality childcare and is specially equipped for children aged from three months to five years. All of the care is specially tailored to suit each age group enabling them to offer the best age-appropriate facilities to the children.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Room Leader to plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the Room Leader in day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all
  • Act as a role model, inspiring and guiding fellow team members to deliver high-quality care

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing excellent care and education to young children
  • Previous experience gained in a nursery setting
