Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, a newly refurbished 26-bed specialist unit within Ashlea Court Care Home, is looking for dedicated Night Carers to join our close-knit team.
As part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist dementia division of Care Concern Group, Oaklea provides personalised, compassionate care in a calm, structured, and homely environment for residents with cognitive needs.

What We Offer £12.70 per hour 24–44 hours per week (Full-Time & Part-Time) Paid PVG, uniform provided, pension scheme 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time) Comprehensive dementia care training and development Opportunities to progress into senior roles Your Role As a Night Carer, you will provide personalised care for residents with cognitive challenges, supporting their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing.
This includes: Assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration Observing and reporting any changes in residents’ physical or emotional health Supporting emotional wellbeing through meaningful communication and reassurance Maintaining a calm, structured, and dementia-friendly environment Encouraging engagement in activities that foster independence, connection, and enjoyment Who We’re Looking For We welcome both experienced carers and those new to the care sector.
You will be: Compassionate, patient, and committed to improving quality of life for people living with dementia A supportive team player, eager to learn and collaborate with nurses, colleagues, and families Experienced in care or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential Training & Development We’re committed to helping you grow.
