We are actively seeking Mid-level Network Engineer to join a dynamic team of senior technology architects, network engineers, and specialists from diverse backgrounds, brings a wealth of expertise to every project.
Mid-level Network Engineer
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Manage project and implementation activities involving multivendor network and security technologies
- Identify, research, and resolve a diverse range of technical problems, requiring data analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors
- Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions
- Collaborate with team members to provide product-specific expertise in support of the customer’s operational or engineering requirements
- Work closely with customers and third-party Technical Assistance Centres to resolve issues
- Gather and analyse critical information to understand and address problems
- Make timely decisions on issues requiring immediate attention
- Attend internal and external meetings and workshops related to client activities
Fundamentals required:
- Proficiency in routing protocols and switching networks
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex networks
- Knowledge of multi-vendor network architectures
- Understanding of redundancy mechanisms
- Knowledge and experience with security technologies
- Proficiency in security mechanisms, including firewalls, policies, ACLs, and NAT
- Ability to interpret packet captures and logging information
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, including ticket entry, event categorisation, and device management
Products and Technologies:
- Familiar with Cisco Nexus 7K, 9K, ASR platforms
- DC Technologies – Fabric Path, ACI, VPC, OTV, VXLAN, MPLS
- Campus Technologies – SD-Access, NAC, DNA, ISE, SD-WAN
- Other Technologies – IPAM, Monitoring and Analytics,
- Cloud technology exposure
- Infrastructure Exposure – Cable types, Optical, Different Interface’s cards
- Extranet Services – Client Connectivity
- Compute – UCS, Hyperflex
Preferrable skills:
- Proficient in understanding and supporting multicast
- Experienced in Linux administration.
- Familiar with multiple vendors, including Arista, Infoblox, and cPacket
- Skilled in deploying QoS (Quality of Service) solutions
- Experienced with scripting and automation
- Knowledgeable in service provider technologies
- Must have extensive experience in Cisco DNAC/ISE and WiFi

Benefits:
- Competitive salary between £60k and £70k (depending on experience)
