Lanserhof at The Arts Club in London seeks a full-time Membership Sales Specialist to join its team. This role, reporting to the Head of Membership, involves showcasing the facility's health and wellness services to potential members, particularly VIPs and high-net-worth individuals. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of luxury customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and strong organisational abilities. Responsibilities include managing member enquiries, maintaining databases, coordinating member journeys, and supporting events. JOB SUMMARY:
You will be a professional and experienced sales person with a passion for health and wellbeing. You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be incredibly organized. Your role will be to showcase our unique facilities and services to prospective members, your passion for wellness will be evident as you describe our range of services and memberships. You will build rapport easily and enjoy developing lasting client relationships in person. You will work closely with and support the Head of Membership in all aspects of their work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the first point of contact with all potential members; responding to initial enquiries in a timely manner, conducting tours and promoting services.
- Ability to promote different membership packages to VIP/ HNW individuals/ groups and be motivated to achieve targets throughout the year.
- Register all leads/ enquiries on the members database to track progress to show conversion rate from enquiry to sale of memberships.
- Complete membership administration including setting up membership profiles and updating members notes on Mindbody and other databases
- Coordinate with all departments involved in members journey
- Build strong relationships with existing members by responding to queries and meeting with members to understand their requirements and needs; ensuring that service standards are maintained and exceptional service is provided.
- Support and work closely with the Membership Manager on member communication and implementation of rules/membership details and daily and daily operational procedures are adhered to at all times
- Work with the Membership Manager to complete membership renewals process
- Conduct Club Induction with member to go through operational aspects of the Club
- Manage members health journey, book inductions and follow up on health journey
- Run member contacts report each month and implement contacts by email and then follow up calls
- Assist with member schedules and ad hoc bookings
- Carry out member surveys and share feedback with departments; manage complaints and liaise with department to resolve member issue.
- Assist with planning and running member events and attend membership events to build rapour with members.
- Support the management team in providing information to potential members
- Be fully conversant of all services offered throughout the business
- Maintain strict confidentiality of members information at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
- 2-4 Years’ previous luxury customer service experience
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Assertive, articulate and polite
- Good general Education
- Good timekeeping and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the service
- Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Ability to form good working relations and adaptable to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to remain calm when under pressure
- IT Literate
Desirable
- 2-4 Years experience working in a luxury Boutique Hotel or Private Members Club
- Experience dealing with VIPs and HNW individuals
- Degree educated
- Experience organizing and coordinating events
- Sales experience
