A well-established client is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending installation and breakdown call outs, servicing and repairing pumps and pumping equipment, and completing site reports. The role requires a valid CSCS card, confined space training, and the ability to prioritize and manage one’s workload. Pertemps Crewe are excited to present an opportunity to work for our well-established client who has been a market leader for over 60 years!

Due-to continued success, my client is looking for a mechanical site engineer to join their team.
Multiple members of their team have been with the company for 40+ years and 25% of their team have been with them for 10+ years!

Salary: Up to £45,000
Hours: Flexible – Monday – Friday – 08:00 – 16:30 or Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 18:00
Location: Remote, Manchester area
Duration: Permanent/ Full time

Duties of the Mechanical Site Engineer

  • Attending nationwide installation and breakdown call outs.
  • Service, repair and assembly of pumps and pumping equipment.
  • Overnight stays approximately 1-2 nights per week.
  • Standby cover on a rota basis when needed on weekends/ bank holidays.
  • Complete site reports when needed, obtaining customer signatures and submitting promptly.
  • Promoting all products and services of the company when the opportunity arises.
  • Ensuring company vehicle is stocked with the right equipment and tools.

Requirements for the right Mechanical Site Engineer

  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Confined space trained.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • Team player.
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Willing to learn and develop.
