Recruit4staff is representing a leading manufacturer in their search for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to work in their facility in Wrexham. The client is offering £15.92 – £17.19 per hour depending on experience, a temporary to permanent position, free parking, and a pension. The role involves mechanical fitting and maintenance work, fault finding and breakdown work on machinery, and general site and facility maintenance. The client is looking for someone with mechanical engineering qualifications, a time-served apprenticeship, and previous experience in a similar maintenance role. The position is commutable from Llay, Wrexham, Mold, Ruabon, Broughton, Deeside, and Chester.

For the successful Mechanical Maintenance Fitter our client is offering:

3. 6:00am – 16.15pm Monday to Thursday – Friday’s off
4. Temporary to Permanent Position
5. Free Parking
6. Pension

The Role – Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

2. Mechanical fitting & maintenance work
3. Planned and reactive maintenance
4. Fault finding and breakdown work on machinery
5. General site and facility maintenance work
6.  Working within a team of engineers
7. Updating maintenance records

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

2. C&G/NVQ/BTEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3. Time-served apprenticeship
4. Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
5. Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
6. Electrical qualifications
